Nothing has been implemented thus far in the President's term save tax *decreases*, of which there have been SEVERAL.

No action has yet been taken whatsoever (as you well know) on Bush's EXPIRING temporary tax changes but the fact that they were written into law with a sunset provision is entirely the Bush teams idea. (They wanted the ten year deficit projections from CBO and GAO to artificially look LOWER so they passed the tax changes with these intentional sunset provisions so that their economic projections could OFFICIALLY COUNT the revenues that were projected AFTER the tax reductions went away.... To pull the wool over the American public's eyes as to how bad a structural deficit they were creating.)
