I actually was alone at a blackjack table at the LV Hilton one night when Elway strolled up with his then wife. He was still playing so it was a while ago. He was trashed and his wife was pissed. He sat down at the table and started playing. The one thing I remember about that incident was how immature he seemed. He was fingering the cards and pretending that they were talking. His wife was getting angrier by the minute. This lasted about 10 minutes until she finally stormed off. He dropped about $1000 and left five minutes later. Just a regular guy.
