Biscayne Bay is pretty darn big.

Interesting thing is the first places settled in any numbers in FL have large Bays. Years ago they coded license plates to the size of the counties.
1 was Dade (Miami)
2 was Duval (Jacksonville)
3 was Tampa (Hillsborogh)
4 was Pinellas (St. Petersburg)

All are associated with big water
