Chas Brazil and China do trade. One buying from the other what they need. Look at this chart.

As from 1994 the Chinese started importing Soybeans. Brazil and Argentina started supplying them. The US is not profitting from China and it is not liking. Such are the travails fo countries whose GDP is consumption.
