I was talking about the MBS fraud, but the AG's of all the states are going after the documentation fraud, which is also FRAUD.

It looks like our rescued, TBTF banks have FRAUDs leaking out all over!

I think the argument you put forward will be easily swatted down. In the case of the MBS's, the contractors the banks hired to advise them TOLD THEM that the MBS's didn't meet the guidelines they had been provided with by the banks themselves.

In the robo-signing thing, they just hired guys who could put a signature down and gave them stacks of foreclosure documents to sign - no requirement to read or evaluate the docs. Most of the guys they put on the job were clerks with zero experience.
