civilized, eh? Hey.. we had democrats in charge, remember.. ;0) Clearly it's disgusting.. just as the Tuskeegee experiments were disgusting. But the US is big enough to admit and apologize for it, and if necessary, pay restitution. NO country is perfect.. we had the CIA LSD experiments of the '50's as well, experimenting on soldiers. We put soldiers in full view of nuclear blasts to monitor the after-effects on them.. All clearly unethical and disgusting. What differentiates a civilized society from one that is uncivilized, is the manner in which they can accept blame, shame, and make right the wrongs. At the very least, we can admit that the people who perpetrated these acts were wrong. Now when is China going to admit what they did during the Cultural Revolution was wrong and denounce Mao? When are the Marxists who terrorized Central America going to admit they were wrong? Hawk
