Its not just that they where not all permanent, the majority of them where temporary, and also not very much like Bush's cuts, in that Bush's cuts where for 10 years rather than one, where intended to actually be permanent (but the extension never passed), rather than intended to be temporary, and where largely on tax rates, rather than being credits, or even refundable credits.
