I happen to think though that that is the most appropriate* way to compare health care costs across nations....* Perhaps. I could make arguments for it, or for other methods. I'd probably want to use more than one. But I wasn't comparing health care costs across nations. That wasn't what the conversation was about. It was about the effects of Obamacare on health care costs, both in general, and specifically the effect of the reduction in people without insurance (if it does indeed actually reduce that number).
