Harry - That's an excellent point that the thread should keep in mind. My only thought would be that I was under the impression that most funds close their books at the end of October, if this is so then selling from that corner of the market should be pretty well finished. Maybe you can shed some more light on this. The other thing is that curiously enough a couple of bellweather techs have held up fairly well, I'm thinking HWP, IBM and Cisco. As far as Cisco is concerned, maybe the fund managers held across the big drop last winter/early spring, so they don't have much in the way of profits yet, as Cisco has basically done nothing over the last year, and is back to where it traded last fall.
