This morning, there are stories of French riots and sabotage of fuel and energy supply lines into Paris, as crushing austerity measures take hold. As I read the stories, I am reminded of something. I do not think most people, in the U.S. or in Europe, realize that they possess a very dangerous weapon. The deployment of the weapon would rattle elected officials, shake the media to the core, and the force political changes that normal citizens desire. Use of the weapon is easy, it requires almost no effort, and it is good for you. It requires no bullets, bombs, fires, or dangerous chemicals. The weapon is completely legal. Can anyone guess what the weapon is? Hint: It is not "your vote" or elections.
