No sh*t. Many are the lessons I've learned, both with respect to investing in the market, and with respect to believing the "data" presented on news threads, and the lessons haven't come cheap. I blame no one for posting optimistic and over-optimistic views about the future prospects of this company. Ultimately, and in the spirit of your posts and John's, the only thing that matters is what the market thinks. Interestingly, the hype may actually be true. However I cannot believe that everybody on the Street is totally ignorant of this information, and the cold hard fact is that the Market does not buy the story. They may in the future, but time alone will tell how much of my margined position in Cymer will be left to see it. Right now, I think less than 50%, and I'm talking 9,000 long right now. The blame is all mine. I was greedy, choosing to believe the hype and acting on that belief with a big leveraged position at EXACTLY the wrong time. I could not forsee the rumors. The market problems are a little different. In any case, the whole-hog approach was exactly that, the approach of a hog. I am left to wallow in some real shit.

oinking on into the future.......
