Cary,

I thought that Otellini's comments regarding the addition of a new computing platform was in disagreement with your thoughts that it is a zero sum game.

I tend to think that tablets will supplement the digital mobility needs we have. There is no doubt, on the margin, it may defer the purchase of a laptop.

I have had smartphones for more than 3 years - they never stopped me from upgrading my desk top and I also picked up a laptop.

I think that tablets may well push phones around a bit.

Personally I need like a bigger keyboard for my stubby fingers.I need a phone and would not have my feelings hurt if I used just as a phone.

A camera and video on a tablet that featured a keyboard that was more user friendly to my hunt and peck keying would be wonderful.

I think we'll all have 3 devices:phone,laptop/desktop, and tablet.

It all adds up to a bigger pie that incorporates more chips into our future habits and needs.

If you haven't read the alpha earnings of Intel - it is a good read.

To the correct interpretation of Chips and their volume of growth - capital gains will be their's.

I still think that by the end of next year Intel will be solidly in the hunt of expanding their revenue beyond the stated 10-15% THAT COMPUTERS ALONE REPRESENT.

Its a subject of much debate and I side on the more overall growth with more proliferation of device types and manufacturers.
