Well Koan, some 2200 foreclosures in the Keys but the constant pounding it's taken from population moving down, particularly in the last 10 years hasn't left much else.

You can buy a condo as a second or third home for next to nothing on either coast. A ton of snowbirds do that. The Keys are still very expensive. You'd probably like the variety of cruise ships here, many that go out just for the day, as well..
