Thirteen percent of Germans would welcome the arrival of a new "Fuhrer," a new study suggests in what may be the most striking example yet of the rise of right-wing extremism in Europe today.

According to the Christian Science Monitor, more than a third of Germans feel the country is "overrun by foreigners," roughly 60 percent would "restrict the practice of Islam" and 17 percent believe Jews have "too much influence."

I would be interested to see where they are polling these numbers. I suspect its mostly from the former GDR.

Of course, this may be a good time to remind ourselves that the largest European ethnic group in this county is Germans.

Brilliant! The residents of WVA are upset because Raese lives partly in FLA. So what does Rush do:

* Rush Limbaugh endorsed West Virginia's John Raese's (R) Senate campaign the other day, noting that the two are both members of the same exclusive golf club in South Florida. Oddly enough, that helps reinforce the Democrats' message surprisingly well.

Stupid is as stupid does!
