RE>>I Haven't heard anything about the PR firm
Cymer was going to hire? Can anyone bring us up to date?<<

About a week and a half ago, I called Cymer IR and, instead of asking why the stock was tanking, I said as a heavily invested shareholder, I thought I might have some ideas for the company to improve Cymers' perception amongst the public. I was connected to a gentleman by the name of Steve Hawkins. I didn't catch the company name because I was at work and had four lines ringing during my 10 minute conversation. I first congratulated them on the NY Times article which he took off-handed credit for. I then asked if any buyback plans may be in order, he dodged that question. next I asked what was being done about the underwriter MS and their treatment of the firm considering Cymer had refuted all rumors. He said they were taking that under consideration but the undertone was that they are NOT happy about MS. I asked if after the conference call if DLJ might be the 'favorite son' to which he replied 'they seem to be a little more in our corner' Finally I asked if Cymer might make press releases when ASM SVGI etc. did to alert those who can't/won't make the connection to Cymer. He said they were bound by confidentiality agreements. the PR firm is based in 310
area code. I will try to find the phone number at work and post it tommorrow.

Keep the faith

About the PR firm they were going to hire. Have not heard anything from them either except the NY Times article 2 weeks or so ago. The Money Radio show is something completely separate from that. One would only hope the PR firm will get going since it may be nothing left to salvage if they will wait too much longer...
