The message to all those black kids, who thought, "If Obama can do it, so can I!" are, I fear, re-evaluating that position. It is NOT something that "anyone" can grow up to do. It requires a particular skill set that some people just don't have. And it requires particular experience that Obama just doesn't have. The message would have been far stronger and more positive had we elected Condi Rice or even Colin Powell.
