WW, I'm losing on COMS too. I simply can't see COMS imploding like some other companies recently (SEG, WDC, ASND). Although if you look at the stock chart, it looks like COMS is imploding, and you would think that COMS has made several big negative announcements, like Ascend has.

1) We know CoreBuilder is a "hot seller", that's what Eric B. said at the latest CC.

2) We know Europe is "recovering", "improving", at least according to multiple other companies/analysts.

3) And we know that COMS is "stronger in the channel, like for example so in Europe they are stronger than we are", according to Cisco at the CC three months ago.

4) We know that COMS is holding their own in re market share with INTC in NICs (though COMS may be taking big profit hits on NICs, I don't know.

5) We know COMS is gaining share (like 65%) in modems.

Margins may be suffering also in modems (continuing extensions of rebates).

I have to look at the charts tonight, see what's happening. I know it's not going to look pretty. :-(
