Am engaging with sino-aussie group coming together to facilitate team china buying of global mineral resources. Am in awe at the audacity, strategy, discipline, and vision of the effort's sponsor entities.

Rmb revalue against usd would facilitate schema.

Current unemployment problem is not due to non-optimal allocation of educational dollars and curriculum. It is much deeper and unless the entire political system is revamped, we will not see a decent solution any time soon.

This mis-allocation of academic effort likely to be a structural problem for long time.

Totally agree. I think the depression will inspire a new wave of college bound students to think of a degree in practical terms, as I did (a product of the 70s recessions and much austerity in my own home).

Our recent family graduate earned himself an art history degree. My wife and I just shook our heads when he made that his degree major. At least he got a couple part time jobs within two months, which is better than most (he works about 48 hrs a week and, thankfully, has not boomeranged).
