The Republican Senate hopeful told the Anchorage Daily News that he was disciplined for violating ethics rules as a public employee, and conceded that he has "many flaws."

It's a perfect storm. And I'm not talking about the impending dangers facing Democrats. I'm talking about the dangers facing our democracy.

No one needs to tell me. A number of GOP candidates this year look like they came from Central Casting for the Rise of the Third Reich. Our democracy got into trouble November, 2000 and its been downhill ever since. And many Americans are oblivious.
