BTW, Siskinds has a court date this week.

Maybe some of us will be alive if and when this lawsuit concludes.

Nice job getting it corrected.

It now reads:

"Allen-Vanguard finally reached a privatization deal with Versa Capital in September 2009, but angry shareholders who said they were given no consideration in the transaction launched an $80-million class action lawsuit against the company and complained about its actions in buying Med-Eng.

The lawsuit against the company was disallowed by the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and Allen Vanguard went private in late 2009.

However, Siskinds LLP, the counsel to the plaintiff in the above action, told OBJ in an e-mail that the suit against various company personnel is ongoing.

"The case remains pending against Mr. Luxton and other persons who were officers and directors of Allen-Vanguard at the time that the matters raised in the action occurred," Michael Robb, of Siskinds LLP, told OBJ.
