Jack and David, I am in the same boat with the Jan 98's. I think that I will let the Nov 12.5's ride. 1/16 is not even enough to cover the commission. As for the Jan 98's, I think I will hold on until the first week of Dec before making a decision. I really don't see any evidence of a BORL decline. So we will not lose much in the next few weeks. Could make a point or two easily. And, I need to think about the tax issues as well. Taxes alone might compel me hold until 1998.

Jack,

As you know, I have nowhere near your commitment; however, I am at this point going to try and move to Jan 00 (10s, I imagine). I just think they present an excellent opportunity. But like you, I really don't want to bail out of the Jan 98's at a time when Borland seems to be making progress.

I'm hopeful of seeing 11-1/2 or so in the next couple of weeks. That would be sufficient for me to get 2 for the Jan 98 10s, which is what I'd be happy with.....

David
