Homerin' Josh Hamilton's heating up espn.go.com NEW YORK -- Maybe Josh Hamilton can get into a groove by the World Series. He feels like it’s coming. “I feel like my swing’s getting better,” Hamilton said. “I’m starting to barrel more balls up. I’m standing square better. I had a couple of good swings on the ball tonight.” Well, that’s one way to put it when a guy knocks a couple of pitches out of the park. Hamilton provided a couple of insurance runs in Game 4 with solo shots in the seventh and ninth innings, just clearing the right-field fence on the first and driving the dagger well into the Yankees’ bullpen. That gives Hamilton four homers for the ALCS. To put that in perspective, he has twice as many homers than ex-Rangers Alex Rodriguez and Mark Teixeira have combined hits. Man, just wait until Hamilton gets hot. ______________________________________________________________ btw, does ANYone think A-Rod might be overpaid and Josh Hamilton is dramatically underpaid...;-)
