We've always looked down on China, mostly because of their dumbass experiment with hard line communism planted by the Soviets. But, they have traditions and culture dating back 4000 years.

But now, it seems they've married communism to capitalism in a way that is far more productive than ours. With no messy democratic process, they can efficiently maximize their GDP growth with policy from the top unimpeded by social considerations.

With an increasing number of Chinese living lives with more hope and promise than their parents, who's to say it's wrong?
