Pancho, I wouldn't go shorting a new entrant to the Y2K field - wait for it to run up.

Imagine where you'd be now if you'd shorted every new entrant to the Y2K field when they first entered the field!

(Hint: remember those Brown & Co. commercials where George takes the elevator to below the basement? :) )
