Meathead,

I'm a little bit of everything! Sure looking back you can see a reversal trend was likely to happen, but back in Aug. I saw DELL stock go from $20 to $100 while their sales and earnings were increasing at a rate somewhere between 50 and 75%! I figured that DELL had increased 5 times and their sale and earnings were not increasing anywhere near that fast! I was also willing to continue to add to my short all the way to $120 to $140 a share if I needed too! When picking highs one has to leave enough margin to add to ones short if it goes againt you, and I was willing to do that as long as I didn't see anything out of DELL that would have made me change my mind! Also, too many DIE HARD BULLS on DELL as I began to make my short position! So you can see I take into consideration FA, TA, and try to determine how other people are thinking also! Remember that the market is a mass of brains trying to out guess the other brains! And I can't forget my luck! Seems the harder I try to figure all of the above out the more luckier I am! Hard work brings good luck! I usually put in 12 plus hours a day in my trading and investing and usually do it 6 days a week! My wife makes me stop for at least one day out of the week! Good luck to you, and if you ever want to call feel free to do so!
