Not really much of a surprise. America is now being controlled by marketing slogans and ad agencies. Since it now clear Americans are unable to think for themselves and willing to buy whatever jargon is presented, such as "failed stimulus" or "socialized Obamacare", they are very much puppets of well crafted corporate messages. Add to this ones ability to reframe, say a Palin speech to hear what you want to hear and your post is no surprise at all.
