I have been following your comments and info on Mindoro - they are much appreciated. It seems that you and a few others are the only people who are following this company. I think everyone else has been scared off by Bre-X.

You asked about the annual general meeting held June 20,1997. I was there as were about 30 other people. It was quite informative with regards to Mindoro's approach to exploration. Tony Climie and Rodney Orr went through a graph showing a typical exploration schedule. The most expensive part is the drilling phase which is why Mindoro has been slow to begin drilling. As you say they plan their work and work their plan. This approach seems to be working as can be seen by their recent results.

I spoke with Penny Gould recently and she said that they will be back in Myanmar this week. An article in the Edmonton Journal today said that they will begin drilling in Myanmar in January but Penny didn't tell me that. I get the feeling that they are really optimistic about this site. The Tiris site in Sumatra also looks good and they have been approached by other companies with regards to a joint venture.

I think that Mindoro has a huge potential and I'm taking small positions in it every month. I'll keep you posted if I hear anything else.

Cheers,
