They seem to be doing a good job Zeev, happy to be on line and doing a good job. Images are digitized and stored as fourier transforms then at that time you are more concerned with subtracting frequencies not scalars and you are not splitting hairs so much. Its quite complicated there are correction factors for phase angles phase spin angles ... all sorts of things. You are right the fat suppression is faster and that means it will get better and better.. It was not a question of if.. they asserted they will have it on line soon period not much hesiation from them on that. I think you will see the machine evolve quite a lot over time. Dc Rhoden said as much to Dc Fleckenstein... I think of it as proto 2 or 3 the mood was definitely upbeat.. Homogeneity depends on the tissues water and fat as much as it may depend on the magnetic fields..Resolution is in the mm something like 1~3mm... size of the tiniest tumors other than the micro tumors that form in the tiny channel like breast things.. but those are surrounded by softer tissue that absorbs galodinium...
