I attended 5 Atlanta Braves games this year and the stadium was never more than 2/3's full. This, at a time when they were in first place and playing well. ... I'm not used to this! ... Makes one appreciate Fenway Park even more, if that's possible!

Anyway, the unclaimed seats were off limits to fans. It didn't make sense to the Missus because she remembers games in Fenway back in the 60's where we were always allowed to move up into unclaimed seats.

I saw quite a few fans ejected from those unclaimed seats in Atlanta. Times have changed.

Speaking of changing times, I recall back in the old days where the usher escorted you to your seats and wiped them off with a towel before you sat down, even in the bleachers. We used to tip the guy for it. (ha!) Now, they point you in the right direction.

Yankees lose! They will try to remedy that next year by buying Lee, Worth and some other reliable starter. The Yankees may be able to buy the pennant next year, but they can never buy my love or my friendship.
