A Look At The Future Of America Inside A Dutch Courtroom – Geert Wilders On Trial By The Forces Of Islam
October 21, 2010 by John L. Work work949.wordpress.com Freedom of speech, indeed freedom itself, is and has been under assault in Europe for some time now. The forces behind the campaign can be found within the World of Islam. Dutch Parliamentarian Geert Wilders, an outspoken opponent of the ongoing Islamization of The Netherlands, is currently on trial for publicly voicing his political opinions about the totalitarian nature of Sharia (Muslim law) – and for producing a fifteen minutes long movie entitled Fitna. The graphic documentary draws bellicose verses from the Koran and depicts corresponding acts of violent jihad, including some footage of the 9/11 attacks. You can click here to watch the movie. For speaking out against the incremental capitulation by Europe’s multi-culturally delusional governments to the ever-increasing demands of the fifty-four million Muslims who now live on the continent, he is charged with the crime of inciting hatred and faces one year in prison. Think about that one for a moment. A few days ago scholar and author Andrew Bostom published an excellent analysis of the situation, in which he called on the mid-Twentieth Century work of Bernard Lewis -commentary on the totalitarian nature of both Communism and Islam. Lewis basically wrote the same ideas in 1954 that Geert Wilders speaks today. The difference between the two eras is that, for his words, Wilders is on trial for his very freedom. From Bostom’s essay, here is part of Lewis’ observation: “I turn now from the accidental to the essential factors, to those deriving from the very nature of Islamic society, tradition, and thought… “…Quite obviously, the Ulama [religious leaders] of Islam are very different from the Communist Party. Nevertheless, on closer examination, we find certain uncomfortable resemblances. Both groups profess a totalitarian doctrine, with complete and final answers to all questions on heaven and earth; the answers are different in every respect, alike only in their finality and completeness, and in the contrast they offer with the eternal questioning of Western man. Both groups offer to their members and followers the agreeable sensation of belonging to a community of believers, who are always right, as against an outer world of unbelievers, who are always wrong…” If there is one thing that should now be apparent to all in Western Civilization, it is that Islam does not compromise or bend to the traditions and law of any other culture. It is always we, the Infidels, who must accommodate and give in to the dictates of Muslim Doctrine. If our political leaders do not soon recognize what is going on in Europe, and has already begun to happen here, a look at that Dutch Courtroom wherein the hero of the Twenty-first Century, Geert Wilders, awaits his judgment will tell us our ultimate destination. .......................................................
Yes, Sharia Law rules.

National Politically-correct Radio No inconvenient truths here, please.

Juan Williams has been fired by NPR for telling an inconvenient truth.
Juan was appearing on Bill O'Reilly's show Monday night, when O'Reilly asserted, “The cold truth is that in the world today jihad, aided and abetted by some Muslim nations, is the biggest threat on the planet.” Juan didn't disagree with this claim.
Would President Obama, for example, disagree? I don't think so. Isn't this why, for example, we are fighting a war to prevent jihadists from re-establishing a terror base in Afghanistan? (It's a war, by the way, that Juan happens to oppose.) But do the powers-that-be at NPR really think that jihadists, especially if aided by state sponsors, are not a serious threat? Do the powers-that-be at NPR think their analysts shouldn't be allowed to say they are?
Juan cited the words of the Times Square bomber: “He said the war with Muslims, America’s war is just beginning, first drop of blood. I don’t think there’s any way to get away from these facts." Do the powers-that-be at NPR deny that jihadists have made countless comments of this sort? Are NPR analysts not allowed to cite them?
Juan also commented, “I mean, look, Bill, I’m not a bigot. You know the kind of books I’ve written about the civil rights movement in this country. But when I get on the plane, I've got to tell you, if I see people who are in Muslim garb and I think, you know, they are identifying themselves first and foremost as Muslims, I get worried. I get nervous.”
Of course the powers-that-be at NPR know he's not. In fact, I suspect the powers-that-be at NPR pretty much think what Juan thinks. But the standards of political correctness must be maintained. Pressure groups speaking for allegedly offended Muslims must be propitiated. And so Juan had to go.
NPR--unfair, unbalanced...and afraid. __________________________________________________
