Dwight, I'm used to talking to people who have no idea about the technology behind these DRIVES. Very few people even know about tape drives, you'd be surprised. But the laymen will understand if I say disk drive. But for you I will say only the term "digital linear tape drive" every single time. I've even made both disk and tape drives from kits, so I'm fairly aware of their components and complexity, o.k.?

Also, Dwight, many of the people are new to this thread because they have jumped ship from SEG, WDC, APM, KMAG, RDRT, HMTT, etc. They are unaware of the splendor of "Digital Linear Tape Drives." Long live the King -- Quantum.
