Gaza is a basket case bludger dependent on handouts.

Victor D Hanson had a column describing the economies of the West Bank and Gaza for the time frame while they were partnering with the Israelis. They were better economies than Israels for that 20 year period.

Of course the Gazan's destroyed all the infrastructure left to them and brought in the C4 as soon as they were left to their own devices.

Some would say that Auschwitz was better off than Gaza. The reason is, Auschwitz did not have the Israelis as neighbors.
