qntm already said they are ok w/ current earnings estimates and growth rates for high margin products are 100%+, so what's the big deal?

Tech, I hope so. In fact I wish QNTM would make a big announcement on NFR, even if the products aren't going to be the same catagory as the IBM GMR products. The problem is, like you say and I agree, is there seems to be a tremendous amount of "weak" or "hot" money in QNTM that's leaving right now. People invested but not really familiar with the details of a company are seeing the IBM release and assuming that IBM just single handedly wiped out all the other DD companies.

Tech,
I'm interested in how you think NFR will play a part in the future... I'm simply trying to understand what kind of a grasp you
have (or think you have) on this new technology... personally I think its a little over hyped in these threads. I believe it will have a profitable place in the mix of Quantum's offerings, but that's all it will do. I don't see it as creating a revolution.
