RE: Kill the Real Estate chatter and let's talk BORL!

Nothing wrong witha little off-topic chat while the thread is quiet. If you object, then I would like to direct your attentionto the button at the top of the posting that says next. Press it and move on.

Meanwhile, next time it rains, I suggest you try using some certs to keep dry. As well, when you are hungry, put a little ketchup on them, they will be easier to swallow. Good invesments come in all forms. Houses, stocks, food (yes even food). The key is recongizing opportunity when it is standing in front of you. And I value diversity as much as liquidity. If the market melts, stocks will not be very liquid.

One more thing, as far as better bets. historically, stock is a bonafide loser over the long haul. Land and gold will still have value 100 years from now. MS will be a dead horse. Of course we will all be long dead so who cares. :-)

Lite weight Power

Mitsubishi demonstrated a new, ultra-lightweight, lithium-polymer battery in one of their notebooks for PC labs; it promptly burned a dime-sized hole in the keyboard.

Pros

Long-lasting; reliable, rechargable, and very lightweight.

Cons

Tends to incinerate objects in the immediate vicinity.
