Seth, I changed from the Blues/Rock station to Alternative one and thankfully they have a different DJ! This has some very nice potential. These are the types of bands that have strong regional or big city followings and are full time musicians. However, I agree with what Rick posted a month ago, this site is too expensive. The base charge is reasonable, but the storage and add-on fees are a out of reach for many bands that aren't currently earning a living through their music already. My friend has a fantastic band with all original music, but reality is that it's a tough way to make a living. He can't get the exposure that NetWaves can provide by having his own site; however, it's very cheap to do it on his own. Check his site at:home.att.net (another shameless plug for you Larry) I think that they will either offer more services, especially video content, maybe made to order DVD, as well as CD's or lower their fees as more bands join. The best part, to me, is still the demographic information that this yields. I think that like many forms of Internet Publishing this is a growing area for unsigned talent. It would not suprise me if the major labels enter this area sooner, though they'll probably get a clue later:-) That will mean competition for NetWaves, but Franklin will be showcasing their hardware through NetWaves and will show the added technological capabilities that are possible through their hardware. NetWaves competition will be on our equipment. I would like to see them add independent movies to this site. If FTEL hardware can deliver high quality movies, I think that this would reap even bigger rewards! David, maybe this is through the Frame Relay? Evan
