I personally don't think Alliance is willing to sell itself at this stage at all, unless someone wants to pay for more than $18 - $20 a share. The management knows that they are moving in the right direction by selling several new products that have higher margin, which pretty soon will show visible profits on their balance sheet. In addition, USC's hidden value will become real when USC goes public early next year. So, if someone makes an offer based on ALSC's current market value, plus 20% - 40% premium, which comes to around $10 a share, the management will definitely turn it down. They know that they will do much better than that. My feeling is that if the management does want to sell it eventually, they will wait until all the good news come out, and the stock price has risen to close to the 52 week high to start selling the company.

Regards.
