The chart is a 3 dimensional sphere, not a flat two dimensional chart... much like maps, maps are two dimensional flat pictures when we look at them, but we all know a map represents a three dimensional spherical land mass, all lines in space are curved... so, when you look at a chart it may look like prices are going sideways, but when you measure time along with price on a three dimensional spherical map you begin to see things very differently...
