It wasn't long before their father decided to murder just all about all of them by drowning. All rather pointless and silly. You can tell how well the purification worked by His treatment of the purified bloodline after the drowning. He had most of them murdered in mass extinctions of genocide. Quite a story, but again basically just silly primitive tribal tales with nothing to improve the human heart or inform the human mind... Real fathers think all their kids are pretty special. Especially if they are perfect fathers! So you know the tribal stories are reflecting a very skewed point of view! ;-) But that has always been the case in every human tribe throughout time and throughout place. They are always "The People"--"The Chosen". And they always have a magical helper in a tree, a mountain, or a cloud to help them with getting food to eat and in dealing with "enemies". I, for instance, have a friend named Yahweh who loves me more than anything and who has promised to make me live forever--one way or another! :-)
