Well Vet downtown Burien is virtually two miles from my home here. Lowes, Home Depot, MClendon's hardware and a host of other retailers in the area take the bulbs at no charge.

The State of Washington has a great recycling program for the bulbs so it's no problem to get rid of them..(no charge to recycle any CFL) If I drive the Tesla it takes about 400 watthrs for a round trip.

About the power a 100 watt incandescent burns in 4 hours. Or if I was paying for my power to run it from the utility..
