Why not ask them. We used to talk about different places all over the country to travel to and to move to or invest in, interesting real estate ideas after the crash, affordable places that never went up even during the bubble. Shorting the homebuilders was big.. Many techies from SV spiced it up as did some anti politicians and anti Wall Street sentiment that was just blended in with everything els. It was a great crowd, enjoyed coming hear for years and it was a nice place to bounce things off of people from all over as we awaited the inevitable crash... but most are gone or changed...
