Meanwhile, with little need to pay for its defense, German funds (of which there are plenty, since Germans are productive people and Germany is now a prosperous nation) were devoted to socialism, helping to endear the politicos to the German voters, making the politcos popular and keeping them in power by handing out benefits to the masses. No problem. Cut off US funding for NATO. Prove your bud Bob right. And let me remind you, Germany with a third of America's population is the second largest exporter of manu. goods behind China......China unseated them earlier this year. Germany has a much higher standard of living than China and yet is competitive when it comes to exports. Their freeways are some of the best in the world. You can eat off their city streets and they have a growing network of HS rail. In the meantime, the US is falling apart and we don't want to spend one dime to improve our infrastructure because the minorities would benefit as well. The only reason the Germans didn't embarrass your good bud with the above facts was because they were being gracious hosts to his ugly American act. Is there anyway you could keep Bob from traveling abroad? TIA.
