A deal with Compaq to supply chips for their networking gear:

biz.yahoo.com

Hope they keep coming up with deals in the networking and telecommunications areas. This is where the big growth will come from and it looks like LSI is making an impression with their technology.

Hope I get another chance to add to my position before it moves up from here!

OWO, every thread needs a cynic.. but that went almost all the way to evil...<g> and...I was factoring in a couple hundred million (per quarter) to meet my growth targets, and you destroy my hopes... this is a tough business.....
BTW, I will be off the air for a couple of days.. Have to move my setup to do some reconstruction... Keep that growth trend going..
TSO..... OLE!

Hi Shane,

RE: LSI can trade at a P/E of 30 in a heartbeat.
I've been trying to detect a heartbeat. IAC I'm buying a little at the open if we open lower. I'm expecting a little rally. Don't ask me why. I must have lost it ((@@))!

Did you get in to CUBE during the pullback? Nice move today. I've been so cautious, though. Have kept a promise to myself.......no margin (since just before mini-crash monday) until I feel sure of a turn. Now it's getting interesting. Can't ignore the fact that the Dow busted it's 200day, and volume has been feeble since that first snap. OTOH, some stocks have pulled back pretty close to their lows of mini-crash monday, and we've got the holidays coming with plenty of room on the big charts for a decent rally. It's either that or crash and burn imho.

Now, do you think that Alan Greench has the gumption to steal Xmas? .........not me, but ya never know, and that's the only risk I can see from here.

Tomorrow........maybe we'll sell off big in the am, then end up up for the day. Time for a turn, if there's going to be one. What do you think?

E
