synchro: Mr. Soros too often gets caught between his left-of-center agendas and those of the majority of globalist financiers he rubs shoulders with. Which is to say, he can be wishy-washy.

As I recall, his "open society" is a subject one might see at a Laissez-Faire Book Contest. It is an inarguably radical ideology, yet one that is not unknown in many academic circles. I have read that his media interests in Eastern Europe are promulgating his message via print as well as subterfuge.

He falls far from my favor, yet is worth keeping an eye on.
