Roebear... Nice to see you posting again, your insights have always been valuable.

This is an interesting statement:

Most charting patterns in most books CEASED TO WORK after 2008 crash when the market became manipulated and overly computerized, but they still work at the very largest turns and moves. For the simple reason if you are an ELEPHANT, it is hard to cover your tracks.

I have to ask if is verified or an "expectation" from observation...?

I'm not sure that I agree... because patterns will always remain in the charts... but how we look at them might change or in fact... the patterns might change and need discovery...?

I ask because when a pattern is discovered and returns are significant... it eventually gets out and no longer works. One of the best examples were the Turtles and Richard J. Dennis... his trend following system... was eventually put to sleep.
