I don't think it has to do with browsers. I bet IE has ability to change font sizes. If you increase font sizes while looking at your posts, the word-wrapping will push the last word to the next line, and since your posts have embedded hard cariege return characters, this word will end up the as the only work on that line and the next word starts on a new line.

Not pressing Enter key at the end of the line is kind of word-processing 101. Since your post is created with fixed font but will be displayed with proportional font, you don't know ahead of time where the new line will start.

You should press Enter key only when you want to force a new line.
