BS, hordes of Indians benefited. The huge advantage they have over China is english as a lingua franca. <Only a few indigenous really ever benefited.. You have been conned by the Catholic, Irish, anti-English independence movements to a lesser life. Yes, Zimbabwe is independent and their glorious leader Robert Mugabe has led them to their local glory. From which hordes have fled to South Africa, to New Zealand, to anywhere they can escape. Most Zimbabweans, given a choice of living in Rhodesia or as they are would choose Rhodesia. India is getting a bit of economic traction now not because they got rid of the British Empire but because they reconnected with the British Empire via the new world HQ in Washington. Unlike with the British Empire though, they are not allowed to go and live in the USA. They can't get an American passport. The only passport their was in New Zealand was a British passport and that's what Maoris got too. It doesn't take half a century to "recover" from British rule.
