I thought it still existed. I never saw it, but I heard its name so often in London, I assumed it was still there.

Funny you should mention a book by Bill Bryson. I think he's my favorite author but had no idea he had a new book out.

I've just now finished up for the 4th time his previous work, "A Short History of Nearly Everything". What a great book! I majored in science and engineering but there was a lot of stuff I didn't know. Can't recommend that one enough, but his other books are great too.
