Probably. However, it looks like the source of this turmoil seems to be from Europe, yet again. Portugal unable to pass austerity measures and the Bundesbank stating that they're not going to do further bail-outs.

Let's see if Ben and the Federal Reserve Bank of NY's trading desk will save the day, yet again.

From what I've seen, there doesn't seem to be much of a bid behind the activites of the machines. The entire market could easily flash crash with the right scenario if the correct algorithms are triggered.
