Simple to understand.
We are an Island far away from the rest of the world.
Thru History we became the hub of industry with our ability to invent, create and manufacture.
This happened by the very nature of the people who came here. Strong and brave willing to take great risks in order to civilize this new land.
But now we have succeeded, many times and have become soft.
The rest of the world wants a cozy home a new hyundi a paved driveway and a Mikey D shack to drive to.
They no longer have to look across a vast pond to do it.
they are closer to each other with no vast body of water between them.
Over time US and Canadian addresses get replaced by Chinese ones and we have become too expensive and not needed.
Personally I think Canada and the US need to look within to stimulate our economies.
