It's a good fight. We'll see if they can actually make any progress before the influx of the new, bought and paid for, GOP reps can derail the effort. Boehner is “the guy that was huddling with all the lobbyists from Wall Street” to try to defeat the financial regulatory overhaul enacted this year. He is slated to have another, much more powerful bite at that apple. I'm certain that this is another area that Rove and company are using to spur those newly legal, unregulated, unaccountable corporate donations to shape laws to their liking, and of course squelch any progress made to date.
